InsuranceCollison Repair & UTV Service

It’s bound to happen—you’ll have some cosmetic or structural damage if you push your UTV to its limits. That’s why it seems silly not to put coverage on your rig, but in the state of Texas, technically, you don’t have to.

What Does ATV/UTV Insurance Cover?

  1. Liability—standard liability coverages for ATVs and UTVs include bodily injury and property damage. When you’re backing your ATV out of the garage and your foot slips, you roll back into your buddy’s truck sitting in your driveway. Your liability coverage may pay the policy limit to repair the damage on your buddy’s truck.
  2. Collison—coverage refers to damages associated with repairing or replacing your machine after a covered loss. An example of this is when you take a curve too fast and collide into a tree. Your ATV or UTV may be repaired up to your policy limits.
  3. Comprehensive Coverage—this coverage includes but is not limited to fire, vandalism, theft, hair, animal, and many more. If a deer runs out in front of you while you’re on the trail and you hit it, leaving you with a cracked front bumper, your insurance may cover you up to your policy limits.

And most UTV and ATV owners don’t realize that most insurance companies cover cosmetic damage. Don’t leave the scratches, dings, and dents on your machine—make a claim with your insurance and let us restore your side-by-side to its “off the showroom floor” condition.

UTV Coverage Exclusions

ATV and UTV insurance only cover recreational use. Therefore, the repairs will not be covered if you have an accident while racing. That said, accidents that happen on state highways or roads are generally not covered either due to the nature of UTVs, and ATVs are to be driven off-road.

Advantages of ATV and UTV Insurance

The risk of not having ATV or UTV insurance coverage outweighs the reward in the amount of money you spend on insurance premiums. Replacing parts and fixing damages can cost you a pretty penny, and when you use your machine as much as we do, those costs add up quickly. Therefore, the safe bet would be to add coverage to your side-by-side and pay the premium rather than paying all repairs out of pocket.

How Does UTV Collison Repair Work at DFW ATV?
